Waterproof membranes can be divided into low molecular material waterproof membranes such as asphalt and polymer material waterproof membranes according to their materials. Commonly used polymer waterproofing membranes are EPDM materials, PVC materials, HDPE materials and TPO materials.
In recent years, with the development of polymer material technology, waterproof membranes made of TPO materials have gradually replaced other materials. Compared with EPDM, TPO material does not need vulcanization and has the advantages of heat welding. Compared with PVC, there is no volatilization loss of plasticizers to cause hardening and cracking problems, and no toxic gases such as hydrogen chloride are produced during the heat welding process.
Compared with HDPE, it has the characteristics of high welding strength, good fitting performance, strong waterproof quality, good flexibility, convenient construction and applicability for complex parts construction. Moreover, the material has excellent long-term aging resistance, light resistance and a long service life, especially suitable for application on exposed waterproof membranes.
The market share of TPO waterproof membrane material developed and produced by Dawn Polymer in China has steadily increased due to its excellent physical properties, processability, flexibility, heat and aging resistance and outstanding use effects.
The waterproof membrane products prepared by Dawn Polymer's TPO waterproof membrane material can be applied to the preparation of (GB 27789-2011) H, L, P and other waterproof membranes, that is, it not only can be applied to roofs and other exposed waterproofing, but also can be used for non-exposed waterproofing such as tunnels and culverts. 9511M is suitable for non-exposed coils, 9513M is suitable for exposed coils with a 5-year warranty, and 9513MT is suitable for exposed coils with a 10-year warranty.
