Development History of Dawnprene TPE

In 2002, through cooperation between universities and enterprises, Dawn Polymer launched the world-leading research and development project of high-performance thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV), and established a joint laboratory with Beijing University of Chemical Technology to jointly develop industrial technology for the localization of TPV.

In 2006, Dawn Polymer broke the international monopoly and established the first TPV production line in China using the "complete pre-dispersion-dynamic vulcanization" technology. In 2008, this technology won the second prize of the National Technological Invention Award issued by the State Council, marking a huge success in the localization of TPV.

Dawnprene TPE

DAWNPRENE TPE belongs to the styrene thermoplastic elastomer, which is a thermoplastic elastomer obtained by blending hydrogenated styrene-butadiene-styrene elastomer with other materials.

The material structure includes the tail section of thermoplastic plastic and the elastic middle section, so it has both the processability of thermoplastic plastic and the elasticity of rubber. Based on the physical cross-linking method, an interpenetrating network is formed, so that the material can be melted and processed when heated, and has resilience after cooling and molding.
