Look at the Innovation & Application of Dawn's New Polymer Materials from SAIC's Own Brand Promotion

On July 12th, SAIC Motor Corporation Limited held an exclusive offline promotion meeting at Dawn Polymer. Twelve popular models from three independent brands, RISING AUTO, Roewe, and MG of SAIC attracted many people. The event was bustling with people looking at cars, test driving and asking for prices.

Dawn Polymer is a national high-tech enterprise and a A-share listed company in the field of thermoplastic elastomers in China. It specializes in the research and development and application of new polymer materials, and is committed to import substitution and consumption upgrade of new polymer materials. Its products include thermoplastic elastomers, modified plastics, masterbatches, meltblown materials and biodegradable materials, which are widely used in the fields of automobile transportation, home appliances and communications, aerospace, medical care, mass consumption, etc.

SAIC Motor Corporation Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of SAIC Motor, which undertakes the research and development, manufacturing and sales of SAIC's own brand vehicles. According to Ma Xueyan, marketing director of Dawn Polymer, the two companies have had a cooperative foundation for more than 10 years, and have formed a stable supply of TPV and modified plastic products. They have jointly developed a number of topics such as new energy water pipes and sealing strip joints, and successfully achieved the localization of materials. Relying on its advanced scientific research and innovation capabilities stable product quality, Dawn Polymer had been awarded the "Innovation and Application Award" by SAIC Motor. “At present, SAIC has nearly 100 cooperative suppliers, and we have successfully been a part of its supplier system. Dawn materials are used in all brands and models of SAIC.” 

TPV, as the core product of Dawn Polymer, is widely used in automotive sealing strips, interior gaskets, dust covers, new energy water pipes, etc. The material boasts excellent resilience, aging resistance, and light resistance. Certified by multiple mainstream original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) both domestically and internationally, TPV has been recognized as a national key new product. Its preparation technology won the second prize of the National Technological Invention Award. Dawn Polymer' modified plastics are also widely used in automotive door panels, bumpers, pillars, etc., featuring lightweight, high strength, high impact resistance, low volatile organic compounds (VOC), and low odor.

As a new material solution provider, Dawn Polymer focused on the research and development, polymerization, production, sales and application of new materials. While producing and supplying products to customers, it can also provide customized services based on customer needs.
