Longkou Federation of Trade Unions Visits Dawn to Console Seafarers

On the morning of June 23, ahead of the 15th "World Seafarers' Day", the Longkou Federation of Trade Unions carried out a consolation activity for seafarers at the staff home of Dawn Group. The activity paid tribute to seafarers who have long stayed at sea transport posts and contributed to regional economic development, boosting their work motivation and sense of belonging. Officials from the Longkou Federation of Trade Unions and the Dawn Group Trade Union attended the event.

As a key enterprise in Longkou's shipping sector, Dawn International Logistics owns 4 bulk carriers with an annual total shipping capacity of 150,000 tons. Over the past 20 years, the Dawn fleet has continuously upgraded, playing an important role in regional economic development and trade and contributing solid strength to marine transport.

On the event day, trade union leaders had cordial talks with seafarer representatives, asking in detail about their work and life, listening to their stories at sea, and expressing gratitude for their hard work. The leaders then presented life supplies, including watermelons, mineral water, and pure milk, symbolizing the care from trade unions.

Dawn has long attached importance to seafarer team construction, improving welfare systems to address their concerns and optimizing working environments to enhance comfort, making every seafarer feel at home.
