First Enrollment! Dawn Collaborates with SVCST to Launch "Dawn Craftsman Class"

In 2025, Dawn Group and Shandong Vocational College of Science & Technology (SVCST) reached a deep cooperation, launching the "Dawn Craftsman Class" for the first time and officially starting enrollment, building a bridge for students to achieve their career dreams. The class recruits students for two majors: Mold Design and Manufacturing (Professional Code: C819H9) and Applied Chemical Technology (Professional Code: C819K6).

Against rapid vocational education development, industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation have become key pathways for cultivating high-quality technical talents. The Dawn Craftsman Class offers a three-year full-time junior college program, featuring two majors—Mold Design and Manufacturing and Applied Chemical Technology—tailored to Dawn Group's core business and industry development needs. It is dedicated to cultivating high-quality talents for enterprises with solid professional knowledge and exquisite practical skills.

The curriculum is deeply integrated with industry and enterprise requirements. The Mold Design and Manufacturing major covers theoretical courses like mechanical drawing, plastic technology and molds, and CNC milling programming, combined with real projects from Dawn's mold manufacturing division. Students will engage in practical training to master core skills in mold design, manufacturing, debugging, and maintenance. The Applied Chemical Technology major focuses on production processes and quality inspection in Dawn's material chemistry sector, offering courses in basic chemistry, chemical unit operations, and automation control, ensuring graduates can adapt quickly to chemical production and technical management roles.

Dawn and SVCST have formed a teaching team comprising enterprise technical experts and university professors for faculty. Enterprise mentors share real-world cases to keep students updated on industry trends, while university teachers lay the theoretical foundation. Innovative teaching models like "enterprise scenario simulation" and "craftsman mentor workshops" enable students to practice in simulated corporate environments, enhancing problem-solving abilities.

For years, Dawn Group has attached great importance to school-enterprise cooperation, regarding it as an important strategic measure to promote enterprise technological innovation and industrial upgrading. It has achieved fruitful results in talent training, technological R&D, project cooperation, and other aspects with many universities. In the practical link of talent training, Dawn Group has co-established internship and training bases with more than 20 universities, including Qingdao University of Science and Technology, Shenyang University of Chemical Technology, Shandong University of Science and Technology, etc. Equipped with advanced equipment and perfect training facilities, these bases provide students with a real practice environment. The enterprise and universities jointly formulate internship and training plans, clarifying objectives, contents, time, and requirements, etc., to ensure the effect of internships and training. Up to now, more than 1,000 training positions have been provided in total.

In terms of technological R&D, Dawn Group has signed several new material technology development agreements with universities such as Beijing University of Chemical Technology and South China University of Technology and carried out joint scientific research projects. Universities give play to their advantages in talents and technology to provide support, while the enterprise provides practical platforms and funds to promote the transformation and application of scientific research achievements. To support the development of education and inspire students' growth, Dawn Group has also established Dawn special scholarships in more than ten universities, which not only provide financial support for outstanding students but also strengthen the school-enterprise cooperation relationship, attract more outstanding students to pay attention to the enterprise, and reserve talents for the enterprise's development.

The establishment of the Dawn Craftsman Class this time is another important milestone on the road to industry-education integration and school-enterprise cooperation between Dawn Group and SVCST. In the future, the two sides will continue to deepen cooperation, constantly optimize the talent training plan, improve the quality of talent training, and supply more high-quality technical talents to enterprises and society. For students who apply for the Dawn Craftsman Class, this is an opportunity for learning and growth. They will receive systematic professional education and practical training in the craftsman class, accumulate experience, lay a foundation for their career development, and also have the opportunity to understand the corporate culture and business needs in advance, and be given priority to enter Dawn Group after graduation to start a new chapter in their career.

A Dawn spokesperson stated that the group will leverage this opportunity to strengthen university partnerships, explore new models for industry-education integration, and contribute to educational development and industrial upgrading.
