Over the years, Dawn Titanium Industry Company has built upon its industry experience in energy conservation and emission reduction by implementing a large-scale acid decomposition process. Using acid-soluble titanium slag as a raw material, the company produces titanium dioxide through the seeded atmospheric pressure hydrolysis method. Alongside the use of large-scale equipment, various energy-saving technologies have been applied, energy-efficient equipment has been selected, and waste heat recovery systems have been implemented.
According to statistics, the company's comprehensive energy consumption per unit product is 856.7 kilograms of standard coal per ton, which is 9.82 percentage points better than the energy efficiency benchmark level. Annually, this results in savings of approximately 10,000 tons of standard coal and 800,000 cubic meters of water.
"Technological innovation, clean production, and green development" are the most prominent features of Dawn Titanium Industry Company. Over the years, the company has consistently led the national petrochemical industry in both energy efficiency and water efficiency, earning recognition as a national-level demonstration enterprise for green factories. It has also been awarded the National Green Design Product title and has spearheaded the formulation of the industry standard "Evaluation Requirements for Green Factories in the Titanium Dioxide Industry."
The national standard "Energy Consumption Limits for Unit Products of Titanium Dioxide and Iron Oxide Pigments," led by Dawn Titanium Industry Company, will be officially implemented on May 1, 2025.
The national standard plan "Energy Consumption Limits for Unit Products of Titanium Dioxide and Iron Oxide Pigments" was drafted by Working Group 469 under the National Standardization Management Committee (NSMC), with execution entrusted to TC20 (National Technical Committee for Energy Infrastructure and Management Standardization). Dawn Titanium Industry Company served as the first drafting unit.
In the future, we will continue to advance our green and low-carbon transformation, aiming to establish a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient sustainable energy system, along with a green and low-carbon technology innovation system. We will actively participate in the formulation and revision of various standards, contributing more of "Dawn's power" to the green and sustainable development of the industry.
