On the eve of International Labor Day, Dawn Group announced a series of honors awarded to its outstanding employees and teams by trade unions at all levels. The accolades, covering categories such as Model Workers, Worker Pacesetters, Labor Medals, Merit Pacemakers, Individual Craftsmen, and Innovation Workshops, highlight the excellence and responsibility of Dawn's industrial workforce. These achievements reflect the Group's commitment to deepening reforms in industrial worker team construction and promoting the spirit of model workers, labor, and craftsmanship.

The conference read out the Decision of the CPC Yantai Municipal Committee and Yantai Municipal Government on Commending Yantai Model Workers and Advanced Workers, awarding 140 individuals, including Deng Anda the title of "Yantai Model Worker" and 60 individuals, including Cui Xiaoyan the title of "Yantai Advanced Worker"

At the forefront of new material R&D, Liu Xiaoping, Senior Engineer of Dawn Polymer, stands as a distinguished example. On the morning of April 30, she attended the 2025 Yantai Celebration of International Labor Day and Commendation Conference for Model Workers and Advanced Workers, where she was interviewed by the media. Her integration of technological innovation with the model worker spirit exemplifies how modern scientific and technological workers serve the country through technology. With nearly 30 years in new material R&D, rising from a technician to Process Director and Senior Engineer, Liu led her team to make major technological breakthroughs in thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPV), breaking international monopolies and driving China's new material industry from followership to leadership.

On the afternoon of April 27, at the "Chinese Dream, Labor Beauty" Celebration of International Labor Day and Award Ceremony for Longkou Craftsmen and Model Worker (Craftsman) Innovation Workshops held by Longkou Media Center, Wang Hong, R&D Director of Dawn Polymer, and Zhang Yingying, Deputy Director of R&D Center of Dawn Titanium Industry, were commended. In terms of technological innovation and industrial upgrading, the Wang Hong Model Worker (Craftsman) Innovation Workshop was named a "Longkou Model Worker (Craftsman) Innovation Workshop". With nearly 20 years of focus on thermoplastic modification technology, the team boasts high academic qualifications and rich R&D experience. On April 30, Wang Hong herself was awarded the "Yantai May 1st Labor Medal".

Also shining in innovation is Zhang Yingying, a post-90s talent and Deputy Director of Dawn Titanium Industry's R&D Center. Awarded "Longkou Craftsman" for multiple technological innovations in the titanium dioxide industry, she has dedicated years to titanium dioxide technology innovation, winning the Yantai Science and Technology Progress Award and demonstrating the innovative vitality of Dawn's younger generation.

In logistics, "Dawn 17," a vessel of Shandong Dawn International Logistics Co., Ltd., was awarded the "Yantai Worker Pacesetter" title. Since its operation in 2021, "Dawn 17" has operated year-round, setting new benchmarks in domestic shipping. Facing downward pressure on transportation prices, it achieved an efficient monthly turnover of up to 4 voyages through refined scheduling and technological innovation. In 2023, it completed 43 voyages, exceeding the annual target by 18% and winning the "2023 Innovation and Excellence Labor Competition Merit Team" title.

In product quality control, Wang Wei, Team Leader of Raw Material Testing at Dawn Titanium Industry's Quality Control Department, was awarded the "2024 Citywide Innovation and Excellence Labor and Skills Competition Merit Pacemaker" for her belief that "accuracy is life". In 15 years, she has led her team to achieve 100% annual testing coverage and accuracy, safeguarding product quality. In 2024, Wang Wei won the third prize in chemical testing at the 3rd Yellow River Basin Chemical Industry Skills Competition in Shandong Province, demonstrating solid theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Standing at a new starting point, the Dawn Group Trade Union will vigorously promote the spirit of model workers, labor, and craftsmanship, inspiring employees to unleash their creative potential.
